This Malaria free area provides an unrivalled safari experience with the opportunity to view Africa’s Big 5, including cheetah, under African skies. Umzolozolo is an intimate, privately owned, luxury game lodge where you will be able to enjoy the biodiversity of the reserve in near solitude. Experienced, enthusiastic game rangers will accompany you on game drives in open topped 4×4 game viewers, tracking the Big 5 and sharing their vast knowledge of the surrounding wildlife. The lodge features 4 luxurious suites, 4 luxurious chalets, as well as a presidential suite (with a private jacuzzi) all secluded and free standing.  All the air conditioned rooms have large picture windows to maximise game viewing. In addition to a private bathroom, each suite has an outdoor shower, so guests can immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of Nambiti, an unforgettable African experience.

An added indulgence is the flat screen TV with satellite channels to catch up with the world that seems so far away – should you wish to! Suites

9 luxurious chalets and suites with panoramic views, freestanding, constructed with local materials and thatch. The air conditioned rooms are spacious and secluded with private viewing decks where guests can relax and observe the herds of zebra, wildebeest and impala as they graze below. 

The suites have been designed to allow maximum game viewing from every room with large picture windows looking out onto the valley. In addition to a private bathroom, each suite has an outdoor shower so that even while showering, guests can immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of Nambiti. Showering in view of a herd of antelope or elephant is an unforgettably African experience! 

Dining

During your stay you will be assured of a superb culinary bush or boma experience as the chef conjures up masterpieces to delight the palate. Guests enjoy 4 exquisite meals a day.

A full English breakfast, buffet lunch and a scrumptious dinner, as well as a pre morning-drive spread and savoury snacks on the afternoon game drive truly a piece of heaven on earth! 

Safari

Upon arrival at Umzolozolo Private Safari Lodge you will be introduced to your Ranger. He/she will be available to you during your stay and will escort you on two game drives daily, in an open topped 4×4 game viewer. 

If you have a particular interest in any species, your Ranger will make it their personal mission to find it and share their in depth knowledge of African wildlife with you.
