Siviti, formerly known as Thornybush River Lodge, is derived from the Xitsonga word Xiviti meaning intellectual.

Wrapped in luxury amidst the African bushveld, guests get to experience incredible game viewing opportunities blended with personalized service and top class amenities.

Set along the banks of the Timbavati river, you will enjoy private viewings of wild animals, specifically elephants. Either from the main deck’s rim-flow pool or from the shaded waters of your private plunge pool.

Siviti’s main lodge is limited to 12 guests, which only has private suites, including the superb two-suite Timbvati Villa. With elegant furnishings in the main lodge and private suites, guests feel right at home from the moment they arrive, ensuring an intimate wilderness experience beyond what you can imagine.

In addition they have recently added the 8-sleeper Timbavati Homestead, which offers an exclusive family-style experience whilst having the luxury of being in the bush.

All dietary requirements are respected and catered for and their team of chefs offer tempting spreads of a variety of culinary delights.

Feast on a diverse assortment at the breakfast buffet, whilst awaiting a cooked breakfast order of your choice or slip into the afternoon with a delectable lunch served on the deck, overlooking the semi-circular rim-flow pool that is often visited by elephants.

Dinners are served on a lantern-lit deck beneath the stars listening to the varied sounds of the African night.
